The 676 page volume includes the families of five of the six known children of John and Elizabeth who came to what was later Gilmer County, West Virginia. They include John R., Townsend,George, Henry Milo, and Nancy. A son, William, is believed to have never married. John R. settled in Ritchie
County; Townsend, George, William, and Nancy remained in Gilmer County; and Henry Milo lived in the part of Gilmer County that later became Calhoun County.

After many years of research, the information Dr.Woofter collected is in one indexed, hardbound volume (81/2×11”) printed by Carlisle Printing, Walnut Creek.
