Meyers, 164 pages and fully indexed, contains more than 17,000 names involved in guardianships, people assigned to poor house, land disputes, assessments, licenses for various purposes, etc.  This book is especially helpful because county records for the Civil War period (1861-1865) are so very sparse.  Were we rating books, we would call it a four-star book.
