HCPD Chat April 23, 2023

Today’s HCPD Chat was a fun conversation between 10 of us from 7 states (Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Ohio, Maryland, Utah, West Virginia).

Patty updated us on:

  • Hacker’s Creek Journal will be out next week
  • Spaghetti Dinner was a success. First one with dine-in since before the pandemic. Made over $1000.
  • Classes in March and April were a success. We made over $1000 on these as well. They were recorded, and we are figuring out how to make them available for a donation.
  • Coming up next  is a Yard Sale and Hot Dog Sale.
  • For the Gathering in August we will be spending time at Jackson’s Mill, which will include historic talk and possibly lunch in one of the cabins.
  • Please send us any ideas you might have for Zoom meeting topics, YouTube videos, or the Gathering.

Paula shared some information about projects we are working on and also some great places to find maps and to do research. Check out some great introductory videos on these and take some time to explore.
